Katie’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

Most people don’t know that I’ve battled Cancer, Lyme disease, and Hypothyroidism over the past few years. All of which has left me with chronic fatigue. Rewind to August 2017 where I fell into a rut, focused solely on cardio, was constantly eating out, and drinking more than ever. September 2017 I made a commitment to myself to make a lifestyle change. Just a few small tweaks and by January 2018 I was down 10lbs, had the drive to get fit, and reached out to Morgan and Michelle to take my nutrition to the next level. I discovered that I was doing a disservice to my body by not eating or sleeping enough. I very quickly learned the importance of recovery and properly fueling your body and my performance in the gym was a direct correlation to getting enough of both. During this process I worked an insane dayshift and nightshift schedule that would make most people’s head spin staying committed through it all (even checked an entire suitcase of food to stay on track while I traveled). I always found a way, never an excuse to meal prep and make it to the gym (frequently post-nightshift on no sleep). As a result, I got to celebrate with “1st’s”, PR bell rings, moved to completing Sport WOD’s, & was flattered to be asked to be a partner in the upcoming Backyard Brawl which will be my first competition (all of which I never thought I was capable of). My transformation was never about striving for a goal weight or wanting/comparing myself to another girls body. It was about investing in my own self-worth to be leaner, stronger, and healthier. It was simple, it’s not about having time, it’s about making time to get results. I hope my story inspires others to make small changes to invest in your health, encouragement to be stronger than your excuses, and a positive mindset to keep going. 3 months from now you’ll thank yourself for trusting the process and being consistent. I’m down another 15 & 25lbs total since September. I feel incredible, have more energy than I’ve had in years, and I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m beyond grateful and proud of the strong, disciplined, & confident woman I’ve become!
