“12 weeks ago, I celebrated my first year discovering CrossFit @crossfit_everlasting. I’m happy to have found something I really enjoyed, yet I’ve always felt like something was missing. I came to a realization that I’ve been using CrossFit as an excuse to eat poorly. I decided something had to change.
I’m a nurse and I talk to my patients about the importance of diet and exercise all of the time. But when it’s my turn to incorporate diet and exercise into my everyday life, I didn’t know where to start. After multiple failed attempts of eating healthy, I swallowed my pride and I asked Morgan and Michelle to help my wife and I achieve our weight loss goals. I never doubted the program because when I look around CFE, I’m surrounded by one success story after another. Yes there were days when I doubted myself and thought, maybe I bit more than I can chew. That’s where Morgan and Michelle came in; they listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and pointed me in the right direction. Eventually, I ran out of excuses and I just embraced the program with arms wide open.
After 12 weeks of #EverlastingNutrition, my progress in the gym was at an all time high. I’ve reached goals that I set for myself 6 months down the road. I have never accumulated this many PRs in such a short amount of time! “Lighter, faster, and stronger” were some of the main goals that I wanted to accomplish in 12 weeks. And I’m proud to say that Morgan and Michelle helped me attain all 3.
Big sacrifices will brings big results, and I’ve experienced that first hand. It can be hard at times but surrounding yourself with people who have the same goals as you can make it a little easier. Sharing this experience with my wife and achieving our goals together means the world to me. Thank you Ashley for being there with me throughout this journey; I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for helping me find the better version of me. You have given us the tools and knowledge that we can apply and live a healthy life from here out.
