Liz’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

Liz lost 18 pounds on her Everlasting Nutrition journey! Here’s her story!

“I have been doing CrossFit for nearly 2.5 years. I didn’t see any results and just didn’t feel good about myself. I realized that my lack of motivation was affecting my lifestyle. When they say “you are what you eat,” I took it personal and actually thought as long as I work out 3-4 times a week I can eat what I want. I partially blame my weight on my 3rd pregnancy because I have 2 girls (25 & 17 years old) and I finally had a boy, emergency C-section because he weighed 9 lbs 9 oz. I had gained 30 pounds but was blessed to have a healthy baby.

I decided to give nutrition a try because nothing else had worked and I was going into depression. I stopped playing pick-up soccer, didn’t like to run, and spent time sitting on the couch watching inspirational shows about people doing what I WANTED to do be healthy!

I think my breaking point was letting my anger take over my happiness of doing things that I once enjoyed.

When I heard that many CFE members had done the nutrition plan, even the Sport competitors, or what I like to call them RX members – I had no idea they did it too! I had no idea that you don’t have to look unhealthy to want to be around for your family and live a healthier lifestyle. That’s when I realized I wanted to make a change!

The first month of logging in food intake was not the easiest thing to do especially when you don’t like to track your weight or weaknesses. I found that each week the instructions were helping me to do more and it motivated me to figure things out and follow the plan. I certainly needed that push from the TEAM (Morgan and Michelle, Joey’s ecstatic energy, the 5:30am CREW and Crossfit Everlasting MEMBERS! KUDOS to ALL of you!)

My pants feel loser, to where it’s no longer a snug fit, unless I want them tight on a Friday night LOL! When I go to work I ditched the soda and take A LOT of water breaks. In fact, my dept. drinks water with me to help encourage me to continue the healthy lifestyle changes.

I stopped worrying about how I look and focused on how I feel and what I can improve on at CrossFit. I am so VERY, very thankful for CrossFit Everlasting as they have made me a better person.

If you want something, you have to go out there and work for it and I did but I am not done!! I plan to continue eating healthier, exercise often, and focus on losing the flab and building my abs before 2020!”

Laurena’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

This lady CRUSHED her nutrition these past few months and her journey is just getting started! This mom of 4 sets an incredible example for her family with all of her hard work and dedication! Congrats Laurena!

“12 Weeks Ago I started the M&M (Morgan and Michelle) Nutrition Plan at CrossFit Everlasting! I didn’t want to lose any weight, but I wanted to gain muscle and strength. I am a Mom of 4 that has had 5 Pregnancies and I never thought I would ever see any one of my abs ever again let alone six of them! I even discovered muscles I never knew I had, lol!? During this time I PR’d all of my weightlifting movements, Ran a 6.5 Minute Mile Run, Handstand Walked 30ft, Climbed all the way up a rope, Did 10 consecutive Handstand Pushups, Got my Kipping Pull-ups and so so much more! The Food we eat really is Art and our bodies are it’s Canvas or That Finished Sculpture. We have the ability to turn it in to whatever we want! As 2019 is coming around and you are thinking of your goals for the next year, I encourage you to take control of the things you want and make them happen! You can do it!!! Thank you Morgan Lurz and Michelle Casler for all of your teachings, coaching, encouragement and showing me what I am capable of❤️

Megan’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

Megan’s journey is just beginning .. she’s definitely come a long way since she started with us at CFE but this lady is on the move! Her dedication, commitment, hard work and the example she sets for her girls is admirable! Here’s a little more about her story with Everlasting Nutrition!

“I was the largest I had ever been (while not pregnant) when I started the nutrition plan with Morgan & Michelle. After my Mom passed away almost 3 years ago, I was basically binge eating. Not really eating full meals throughout the day, just complete junk whenever I wanted. I struggled with even sharing my “before” picture but if it helps lead someone else down this road to a healthy lifestyle than it’s worth my embarrassment! We all start somewhere. I still have a long way to go but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

While on this diet, I was able to hit PR’s in the gym, which feels incredible afterwards!! I had way more energy for my workouts during the week. Morgan & Michelle were amazing with keeping me motivated & feeling good about how I was coming along. They answered any questions I had instantly. I know I did the work but feel like I owe so much to them for their knowledge & holding me accountable! I wish I had done this sooner! “

Sarah’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

Our @birthfit Coach @_smchav_ shares a little bit about her successes dialing in her nutrition after giving birth.

“I had baby Hunter in December 2017 and gained roughly 30 lbs. over the entire pregnancy. After he was born I knew I wanted to get on some type of plan that helped me lose some of the excess baby weight, helped me keep energized and gave me a good nutritional foundation. I was back to work full time, coaching and had 3 other children in the house to worry about and was working on getting one of them off to college. Despite my schedule and chaotic lifestyle, I knew I had to get my nutrition back on track. Having Michelle and Morgan there as coaches are amazing resources, they taught me how to read nutrition labels correctly and offered great solutions and/or substitutions when I didn’t have time to sit and eat a full meal. They provided me the accountability and encouragement I needed when I found myself unmotivated and stuck. Is it hard, yes, (especially if you are like me and cannot eat the same food for every meal, every day) but, if you want the results you have to dedicate the time! My skin is clear, hair is healthy, I have more energy and I can fit into my pre-baby clothes again! My lifts are coming back and my body is healing correctly after pregnancy and birth. Thank you Morgan and Michelle for keeping me in a good mindset when it became difficult to stay on track and offering encouragement and inspiration when I didn’t.”

Rich and Lauren’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

Teamwork makes the dream work! These two rocked it together and lost a combined total of almost 24 pounds! Great job Rich & Lauren!

“After giving birth, I worked hard (dieted and exercised) trying to lose my baby weight and return to my pre-pregnancy weight. I was stuck with five pounds that I couldn’t shake and I noticed my weight was distributed differently. I wasn’t happy with my performance in the gym or how I looked. I spoke to Rich about the nutrition plan at Everlasting and he agreed to do it with me (he had baby weight to lose also  ). We took the jump, with me joining Everlasting and starting the nutrition plan after I finished breast feeding and we celebrated C’s first birthday. We dropped a combined 23.6 pounds. Morgan & Michelle were fabulous while being easily accessible with answering all our questions, helping us decide what to eat when we would go out to dinner with friends, monitored us while we went on vacation, etc. I’m beyond happy with the results of the program! I haven’t been this comfortable in my body in a long time. We definitely could not have gotten here on our own and appreciate all of the support and growth M&M provided to us throughout the entire process.”

Ashley’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

12 weeks ago I made the best decision – to learn how to properly fuel and treat my body. Before starting I was afraid I would be all alone in the process and be restricted to eating dry chicken breasts! Absolutely not the case!
1. M&M gave me a DETAILED variety of foods and meals, I never felt deprived.
2. I made a great new friend Megan, who was on this journey with me. It was nice to have extra accountability while also having a battle buddy who understood what you were trying to accomplish.
3. Anytime I had questions or felt push back from others who were not on this journey with me, M&M re-focused me reminding me where I started and to, “ figure out what you want out of life and to pursue it unapologetically. It doesn’t matter if its not inline with everyone else’s beliefs about whats right in life. This is your ride, not theirs.”

I believe the most important take away was the knowledge I gained about the value of food and how to be kind to your body, so it can in turn, be the best for you. I’ve never made a better decision regarding my health. As I weighed in the last morning, it was oddly bittersweet, however, I know M&M will always be there for me and that the best is yet to come! Morgan and Michelle were right all along….. “ lighter and stronger by the end.”

Marc M’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

“12 weeks ago, I celebrated my first year discovering CrossFit @crossfit_everlasting. I’m happy to have found something I really enjoyed, yet I’ve always felt like something was missing. I came to a realization that I’ve been using CrossFit as an excuse to eat poorly. I decided something had to change.
I’m a nurse and I talk to my patients about the importance of diet and exercise all of the time. But when it’s my turn to incorporate diet and exercise into my everyday life, I didn’t know where to start. After multiple failed attempts of eating healthy, I swallowed my pride and I asked Morgan and Michelle to help my wife and I achieve our weight loss goals. I never doubted the program because when I look around CFE, I’m surrounded by one success story after another. Yes there were days when I doubted myself and thought, maybe I bit more than I can chew. That’s where Morgan and Michelle came in; they listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and pointed me in the right direction. Eventually, I ran out of excuses and I just embraced the program with arms wide open.
After 12 weeks of #EverlastingNutrition, my progress in the gym was at an all time high. I’ve reached goals that I set for myself 6 months down the road. I have never accumulated this many PRs in such a short amount of time! “Lighter, faster, and stronger” were some of the main goals that I wanted to accomplish in 12 weeks. And I’m proud to say that Morgan and Michelle helped me attain all 3.
Big sacrifices will brings big results, and I’ve experienced that first hand. It can be hard at times but surrounding yourself with people who have the same goals as you can make it a little easier. Sharing this experience with my wife and achieving our goals together means the world to me. Thank you Ashley for being there with me throughout this journey; I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for helping me find the better version of me. You have given us the tools and knowledge that we can apply and live a healthy life from here out.
