Amanda’s Everlasting Nutrition Results!

I’ve been saying since November 2015 that I was going to get my life together. October 29, 2015 my daughter was born and I vowed to become the healthiest I’ve ever been. Well if you’re a mom reading this, you know damn well that your baby comes first (at least that was my excuse). Fast forward to spring 2017… I’m now months away from my baby sister’s wedding and I’m the heaviest I have ever been in my life (except the end of my pregnancy). I didn’t think so then, but as I reflect … yup! I reach out to Morgan about my nutrition and she connects me with Michelle. I start following my meal plan and survive 3 weeks, maybe. I didn’t even have a real reason for giving up. Excuse after excuse! I quit on myself again. Enough of the excuses! We moved to Bel Air in August 2017, I resigned from teaching, adjusted my schedule to being a stay at home mom and a member at CFE. I started making small changes on my own (upped my water intake, tried to eat healthier, started talking to M&M again about nutrition). They never gave up on me. They waited for me to get 100% committed. With my small changes, I could see things happening at the gym and I was determined to get more. 2018 was going to be my damn year! Well hell yes it has been. I started my diet on January 2nd and made it! LYes! Go me! I didn’t quit! What was different this time, I’m not 100% sure. I do know what kept me going; the voice in my head saying you’re going to quit again (wrong), the amazing community at CFE, being able to share my progress (in and out of the gym) with my close friends, and most of all Tessa and Fedor supporting me and eating the same food! The picture above is October 2017 to April 2018! I’ve lost 15#s and my body composition has changed and I need smaller clothes! To anyone reading this thinking you can’t … you’re wrong! You can do it! One day at a time – some days it was one meal at a time! Stand up, smile, and be proud! I know I finally am proud of the wife, mother, sister and friend that I’ve become! Strive for progress, not perfection!
